Family Picture!

This afternoon we were all out at the park taking pictures when a passerby stopped and asked if we wanted a family picture.  I was excited, but tried not to get my hopes up. Most of the time, when you pass a slr camera to a non-photographer, the pics come out horrible (my automatic modes are messed up, so I have to leave the camera in Manuel). But this time the pic came out great! I was super excited because we don't have any good pics of our whole family since Peter was born. So, here we are...

P.S. Today Peter had a check up. 18 pounds at three and a half months!

what a cutie! we are smitten with him. Especially Henry. Two thirds of my day is spent keeping Henry from smothering his little brother with kisses, hugs, toys, etc.  Its a challenge!  Yesterday, Henry wouldn't stop trying to feed the baby popcorn...

Our Little Priest?

Henry loves the Mass. He loves priests. But most of all, he loves acting like a priest.  He loves processions and every time he finds a big stick outside, he lifts it up high...

He also loves saying Mass and giving us communion. He tells us to kneel, says "da da da da" while making the sign of the cross with the pretend Eucharist, and then puts it on our tongue.  He also has a little chalice and likes to lift it high and chant.  We don't know what God will ask of Henry, but we love his love for holy things and pray he continues his love for the priesthood.

He ties strings to toys to incense things.  He has an aspergellium (bucket and rattle) to sprinkle holy water.  He has pretend birettas (fire hat).

Pensacola...post three

We stayed in Pensacola with the Vanhorn family for two weeks.  Emily was the most amazing gracious host who put up with our craziness as we took over her house and broke a couple of things along the way.  The kids loved loved baby Chiara. In fact, as I am posting this picture, the kids are going crazy begging to see her again. ( I must also note that all of MM's babydolls are named Chiara. )

and slept really well because of it.  The humidity was crazy; we slept with THREE fans in our bedroom.

The Problem of Having a Good Camera

The problem with having a fancy camera is that pictures come out so darn cute; it is impossible to choose which ones to frame!  Here a several cuties from only one photo shoot. I love how Peter is looking at his Papa...

Sweet Peter, how we love you!  We tell you over and over "we are so happy you are a part of our family!" and it couldn't be more true. So thankful that God gave us you.

The Little Princess

I am sooo behind in all the things I want to share with you guys, but MM's new princess dress jumped to the top of the list.  My parents just came for a visit and the first thing that MM said to her grandma was "make me a dress!"  So, grandma designed and spent all her spare time making her grandchild a pink princess dress.   It turned out beautiful...
