Hey again! The past few months have been very rough so please excuse my disappearance! I got poison ivy, which went systemic and left me very sick for a while. Getting poison ivy while pregnant is a double whammy, it effected my weight gain, blood pressure, nausea, food aversions, everything! I just now feel like I am getting back to "just being pregnant" and it such a relief!
My mom called today and begged for some pics of the kids, so here they are. The last couple of months in fast forward. I hope to blog more details once I fully recover...
| Margaret Mary loves playing outside during quiet time and is often found building forts and teepees (as shown above). |
| She still loves loves her papa. Close second is the baby in my belly. She will say things like "I only want to sit next to the baby in mommy's belly." She kisses my belly, sings to it and at Mass on Sunday leaned over and whispered "Thank you mommy for the baby in your belly." She says she asked God while playing outside one day if the baby was a girl or a boy and she claims that God told her it is a girl. Whatever sex the baby is, those two will have quite a bond! |
| Jason has an office in our house right now and gets covered in hugs every time he comes out to go to the bathroom. its the sweetest. |
| Peter is so big, talking so much, and yet still so much a baby. |
| Peter ADORES Henry and they have become very close. Peter copies everything Henry does and has even started copying his tantrums (yikes!). We went to a party the other day and they stayed together the whole time playing. Loyal that little one is! |
| Henry is Henry. :) He told us the other day "I was thinking about God, and he wants me to be a priest." We love the fact that he was "thinking about God" and whether or not he is called to be a priest, we love that we have a reflective son! |
| The kids love to dance and Henry can spin Margaret Mary, which is the sweetest. There they are dancing at the Nutcracker during intermission. (More pictures of that to come!) |
| Henry has become quite obsessed with the Nutcracker, esp the mouse King (whom he is imitating here). At home he begs for the Nutcraker music and switches back and forth from playing mouse king and priest. |
| Peter LOVES to sit on top of all his trucks and tractors and drive them all over the house. |
| Cuddling on the couch..."take a picture of us mommy!" |
| Farm Chores. |
| MM and her violin. We now know (thanks to my dad) that the bridge is supposed to be on it, but here she is Christmas morning testing it out. |
